Our fundraising promise

Quite simply, we couldn’t support our patients or their families without you. We rely on the support of our community to enable Woodlands Hospice to keep our doors open to the community of North Liverpool, South Sefton and Kirkby. Therefore we strive to uphold the very best standards when it comes to fundraising. We are confident that our fundraising is ethical and legal, and assure our supporters that they are able to give in confidence. We therefore, make this promise to all those who support us:

• We value you. We value your support and the relationship you have with us and the hospice.
• We are dedicated. We are dedicated to making a difference and supporting our patients and their loved ones.
• We have integrity. We are honest and transparent when it comes to our fundraising activity.
• We are accountable. If we get something wrong, we will hold our hands up, apologise and learn how we can do better going forward.
• We strive to be the best. We strive for excellence in everything we do, including in how we treat you. We aim to provide our supporters with the best experience in what ever way you choose to support us.
• We are respectful. We will take care of any data or information you share with us and be open with you about how it is intended to be used. We will never share, swap or sell personal data with third parties for their benefit.

We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to their Fundraising Promise. We constantly review the latest developments in charity regulation, data protection and the Fundraising Preference Service (FPS) to ensure we are legally compliant and adhering to all guidelines.
